That comment presumably came from a 65-70 year old Republican Congressman who, if he went to college at all, did so during the days Peggy waxes nostalgically for when a man (only men, of course) could pay for their $500 tuition bill with any sort of part-time job.

Just more evidence that American politics is less about ideas and beliefs than it is about tribalism.

This guy again with his ravings--so sad, so pathetically sad.

I’m inspired to see her still cranking out words arranged into what might be described as sentences, decades after brain death.

It’s really amazing that she got a pulitzer for essentially writing fainting couch material as delivered through a drunken nostalgic haze.

“You know, the last time someone ordered me to do something I was 18 years old, and it was my daddy, and I listened to him, because he was paying for half of my bachelor’s degree.”

Clutching pearls while ignoring an avalanche into fascism. Please tell the great channel-er of Aunt Millays perpetual fainting to start an etiquette column and get the hell out of political commentary.

“I think we can agree he brings a certain amount of disorder”

Initially thought it was Oren from Parks and Rec.

oh jesus. Paul Hollywood, ever the annoying fourth wheel. I shall miss Mel and Sue. Although guys, I just watched season 4. How the fuck did Kimberly not win? How the fuck did Francis win after a whole season of “style over substance” comments from the judges?

Why is Marilyn Manson in the top pic? Anyone?

This low-key hurts my heart. It’s a shame, because I LOVE Sandi Toksvig, and I’ve traditionally enjoyed Noel Fielding on QI, but this just feels so wrong. I think it’s because of the two original judges, Mary Berry is the more essential. She’s the icon.

I feel that we can make a number of assumptions here:

Back in the day Jerry Reed compared the US and Russia to two boys standing knee deep in a basement full of kerosene bragging about how many matches each of them had.

So Dump can at long last boast a genuine accomplishment: he made the crazed and evil dictator of North Korea sound like the sane, reasonable one.

Backing Kim into a corner is a completely reckless strategy and it’s truly stunning that Trump doesn’t seem to get this or really care.

Extra innings are how the poor people get good seats. Without extra innings my dear departed father would not have been close enough to hit Orlando Cepeda in the head with a hot dog bun. Imagine how history could have been changed if things had played out differently on that fateful night in 1964.

I do not think trump would want a war, he does not need to prove to the world how a manly man he is.

Kim Jong Un and Donald J Trump: 2 insecure man-babies.
