That article should serve as a stark reminder that you should never believe any of the bullshit about companies having to move manufacturing overseas to stay profitable. They primarily do it because they can and its a lazy way to increase those precious margins.

Not necessarily evil, but even if you are lobbying for a good cause, you should be very cognizant that the current rules of lobbying make it an inherently corrupting influence on democracy. You might be corrupting it for a good cause but its still corrupting.
