I could see that working as a minigame!

Maybe troll post, but I'll bite!

The Vita turned two recently. Though it doesn't get as much use, it'd be nice to see how the organization and suchlike works for you all, too!

Games are games. And you're missing out on some gems with that mindset!

Because for now, they want them as another selling point for the Wii U.

I suspect my opinion may change once I play XCOM (downloaded Enemy Within when it went on sale last week), buuuut Journey.

Despite me cringing every time I had to take a clunky-ass swim, and rolling my eyes at carrying ladders around (guys, later in the game you have to use the same ladder TWICE! AMAZING INTELLIGENCE PUZZLING!), The Last of Us.

EDIT: Wrong year. Derp.

Tempted to say Demon's Souls, but gonna have to hand it to Uncharted 2. I mean, yeah, I played Demon's Souls for longer and loved the hell out of it and all. But Uncharted 2 is the best showcase for blockbuster gaming in this generation. It deserves recognition for that.

However, it seems your criteria for a good action-shmup are different from mine (and a lot of others, considering that Vanquish is

Crash is an entirely different beast from Mario 64. It's a good game, and not one I regret having in my collection in retrospect. The only reason I consider it a terrible purchase is that dangit, I was DONE with the game! :D

I dunno about the "effects only" thing... The game FEELS good to play, to me. There's this hard-to-describe sense of satisfaction in jetting past robots, blasting them in the face as you do so.
Definitely not a perfect game, by any accounts. And yeah, it's not a terribly complicated game. But what it does, it does

Granted, I also bought a couple of PS1 DragonBall Z games that were barely playable. But, well, I paid about a sixth of a dollar for each of those, so I don't think that counts.
