A couple of them are kinda that, yeah. The "Dumbass '14" one is the worst contender in my book.

Agreed with the Stormtrooper win. By far the most clever take on it, and well done too.
Oop. You must've been typing this post as I was editing. I realized that the "make your own platform" point was actually a discussion-worthy topic of its own, and put it up as its own post rather than a postscript to this thing. <:)
The ones actually having enough viewers to generate single-income-worthy ad money have a potential saving grace, here. They can do their own video site.
Pretty much what I was thinking. When you base your main income on a platform that may at ANY given time tear that income away from you, you need to have a backup plan. There are a few people learning that lesson now.
It's a tie between Dawn of Sorrow and Order of Ecclesia for me. Really, those two are different enough that you should really try to find both.
Can I have a Hell Yeah for Canvas Curse (or Power Paintbrush, as it was known in Europe) being back on the list. That game just feels so very good to play. It's been years, but I can still *feel* the perfectly timed pause and sound effect of barreling through an enemy.
The Spirit Tracks dungeons are fun, except all methods of transport in the game are just way, way, way, way too longwinded. I enjoyed the train at first, but then I got to all those bits where the game forces you to sit through the same longwinded tracks over and over again while fighting the same annoying enemies…
Naw. The joke here is that they're coming out with that on the PS4 launch :D
Augh, dammit. Figures more people would do that one! :)
The other obvious one! Hopefully I got to it first :D
So basically, he kills everyone unless Link (non-Toon variety) is on the screen?
Hubot.
It's full of cheese. But that's no bad thing.
Usually I put his video on, watch it for a bit to see what he gets up to with his cat (daww, look, it's licking his hands now) and then leave it running in the background to just listen to the song.
Except they're not... They just have slightly similar faces. :)
Is Goofy bipedal? Yes.
Because you hate fun.
I see him. There's a gun by his hand and he's not moving.
Humans have pet monkeys.
