That horse creeps me the hell out.

I was a Nintendo kid up until I won a PS1 (back when it was expensive, too) in a make-your-own-game-idea contest in a Norwegian after-school kids' TV show. Enjoyed the hell out of it. I started off with Discworld, and then Johnny Bazookatone.

Well, I didn't run away a lot, so... I tended to be overpowered :)

If the PS4 has full backwards compatibility, I'm inclined to get one from the start. I'm a relative sucker for new hardware (got a launch 3DS and a launch Vita), as long as I have stuff to play on it, or it simply catches my interest through neat stuff (like the 3DS).

Speaking as someone who's NOT a PC gamer, I still see where they're coming from... As skeen77 pointed out here, for the extra cash you put into a PC you also get a lot in return.

If you're in the US, I do kinda understand. Come to Europe, man. Particularly Norway. The storebought chocolate is SO much better overall. Even the Snickers and stuff, since they're made with proper sugar.

Which is good, because good LORD you'll hear it a lot. At least in the DC original. Not running from battles meant that in general, I'd be overpowered for each area about halfway through.

I picked stuff that was literally in the middle of the city, and went for what was as close as possible to a hideout/police station. Location, location, location.

If you've ever spent money on DCUO (like, bought one of the expansions), you move up into the Premium model. There, the inventory's just big enough to be workable, and the cash cap is the only real hindrance. Also, you can trade items, just not money.

Exactly what I was saying. And if you play it wrong, well... Then you'll still win battles, but you won't have fun doing it :)

If it's cheap, it's worth getting just to experience the world and story. By now everyone at least knows what they're getting into with the last three fifths of the game, so nobody gets the same "what the hell is going on with all this crappy RTS that doesn't work properly" stuff.

There's a whole site dedicated to this stuff, and it's actually sorta active again. I submitted stuff to them 10-11 years ago. http://www.zanyvideogamequotes.com/

Nnnnnno, not really. That was Nintendo actually making an effort to reskin a game that they deemed to be more fitting for the European and US audience, whereas this is the opposite: They're not doing anything with the roms because it takes effort.

To everyone who's defending this because it's "authentic" (however few of you there are): How would you feel if that Blu-Ray you bought of The Lion King was the pan-n-scan, mono-aural version, and you had to wait five minutes for it to rewind before you could play it?

So it's a guy in a football outfit, a guy in a football outfit, a guy in a football outfit, a guy in a football outfit, a guy in a football outfit, a guy in a football outfit, a guy in a football outfit, and a guy in a football outfit all competing for the spot.

It's a pretty dumb Saturday-morning-cartoon storyline, and the visuals match it. They're charming enough to get the job done, though, and the gameplay trumps all that anyway.

I'm sorta missing some actual info about these levels and stuff. That's a general complaint about these posts... They need at least a little blurb about each image to tell you WHAT makes'em special, because the pictures themselves often... aren't all that special, and don't show off the areas well.

Clearly skateboards are for eating.

Mnrrrgh. Okayfine. I've been enjoying getting back into the game anyway, and this looks funner.

Not a bad article. Writing about furries does bring out the jitters in a lot of furries, because of the out-to-ridicule-the-weirdness type coverage. But this won't bring out the RAEG in anyone without a stick up their ass.
