That is actually a good point. For at-home bashing around with mates, it's a GREAT idea. The problem is what it does to the online gameplay. I've yet to see a fighting game implement something like this into the online experience in a way that makes sense.

Well, it does make SFxT into more of a party game than a "serious" fighting game, I guess. One problematic thing with it is that it'll split the Internet players, akin to SSF43D with its easy-mode controls.

You know, having rewatched that chase just now, it's just a shame that THEY GOT THE CAR WRONG! Why isn't the back open?

That screenshot's not exactly making me want to play the game. I guess we'll wait for the trailer.

Yep, that was me. Haha, even the same toast image :) (Chosen, in my case, 'cause there wasn't a lot of charring on it already.)

The images just don't show up instantly as you post, so no need to doublepost :)

I ate it.

I was about to complain about spoilers on the dragon thing, but anyone who's played Demon's Souls is going to come back to the spot with the dragon the instant they have a bow and a buncha arrows anyway.

Useful menu stuff: Be sure to cycle through the different equipment effects with Y and X in the equip menu. Also, a lot of the menu have Help functions (accessible via Select on the PS3 and... Stop on the 360, I think) that explain a lot of the stats and stuff.

There are so many diverse paths to take in this game, I've only had to go grind for souls a couple of times in order to get those last 3-400 souls necessary for an

If Dark Souls handles saves the same way Demon's Souls did, then yeah, you DEFINITELY want to be playing on a PS3 that doesn't decide to break down.

Dark Souls.

This is a message to the ones responsible for the digital downloads in the Collectors' Edition of Dark Souls: It shouldn't be harder than the game itself to get an unbroken download.

I didn't find him that bad. Or rather, he didn't seem like that bad a fight, and then he decided to jump off the ledge and kill himself.

Big Apple, 3AM.

RISK... has changed.

Question for those of you who know more about this stuff than me: Do Bethesda have a separate trademark for the term "Elder Scrolls"? 'Cause I can't see any reason for them to trademark just "Scrolls" if they do.

Aaaargh. See, that tumor-head thing was one of those things I would've loved to discover myself. This is why I've been studiously avoiding reviews, but I figured that just a few snippets wouldn't hurt. A fool am I.

"Full Frontal Nerdity" by Aaron Williams is the only funny example here. So it gets my vote, even if Aaron Williams tends to overuse the "deadpan snark" kind of humor.
