Slowly improving my Oro in Street Fighter 3 OE (y'know, actually trying to get the MK into command throw punish into my muscle memory, getting used to buffering Tengu from close MP, actually using that airthrow), and playing SolatoRobo on my 3DS. A game Europeans got before the US! How awesome!

It's still very playable offline. In fact, if you want to get everything in the game, you'll probably want to play offline in order to get some of the worlds aligned the way you need. What you'll be missing out on once the servers drop is the possibility to get invaded, to get help from other players, and to receive

I took him down on my first go, but then I had the Purple Flame Shield, and quickly realized that there was JUST enough time between his strikes to quickly lower my shield and get back some stamina, keeping me from being staggered.

4-1 is THE most likely place to get invaded for two reasons: 1) simple, flat battlefield allowing duelers to duke it out, 2) it's the first chance most get to try out their invading skills. If you wanna try your hand against a random BP, it's the best place to hang around.

As usual with Dorkly Bits, it was funny but went on just a little bit too long. I still cracked up at "MORE!", though.

You guys, you guys.

Oh, hey, sweet. I've been pondering getting back into it, and it works far, far better as a game to just play occasionally.

If Twilight Princess was part of any series besides Zelda, it'd be considered pretty danged awesome. Trouble is, as a Zelda game it has some downright strange design decisions that make it feel... less considered than the other parts of the series.

Hey, you're right. I guess it just doesn't feel the same thanks to the placement :)

Sweet. I've been waiting for clicky buttons to make a return since the GBA SP. That handheld still has one of the best D-pads out there, precisely because of the clicky thing.

I'm throwing my scrubby Oro around, and getting addicted to SolatoRobo for the DS. The latter game is a lot of fun so far... Definitely worth picking up for you US people once it gets out there. Very moreish and hard to put down, and full of fun characters. And stuff to upgrade, and a bunch of optional quests for the

Reminds me of the first season of South Park, with George Clooney playing Sparky the Gay Dog. Which was a hella funny way to use a celebrity.

Oh, has anyone heard anything about when the "Fight for the Light" expansion for DC Universe Online is out in Europe? I figure I'll re-subscribe to the game for a month or so once it's out.

So "Ghost Trick" for the DS is officially completely awesome. Hilarious and engaging, and with smart (though not horribly hard) gameplay. And I'm not afraid to admit that the scenes leading up to the ending made me cry.

Ew, now he's eating a dwarf. That's nasty.

Between this and the SFxT Rufus/Bob trailer, I think teaming up with Namco is probably the best thing that's happened to both companies' marketing.

I beg to differ. With a game like this, an awkward title is part of the charm.

To add another vote to some stuff that has no doubt been mentioned already:

It'll be SUPPORTED, yeah. But NECESSARY? Nah.
