@Kyosuke_Nanbu: That's if you're interested in playing the most balanced version. I can understand that. Yeah, from what I hear, Yun is completely freaking overpowered.

@lordnekro: Ultra Rufus has a 3-frame close HP.
Thank goodness I have 13 unplayed Wii games sitting on my bookshelf, and 3 3DS games that I'm poking at, and an unknown number of DS games that I have barely tried.
@ShinLord: Predictions for online play: Yun Yun Yun Yun Ken Ken Yun Yun Ken Ken Yun Ken Yun Evil Ryu Ken Yun Fei Long Yun.
Grahhh, fine. I guess I can lose myself in online play for a couple more months come the summer.
@Fred T Wood: Much as shameless self-promotion is an iffy thing, this one IS actually funny.
I know. I was trying to say that the PS1 version of one game has CGI cutscenes, so it makes sense that the other one would as well :)
Wouldn't that... pretty much be the PS1 version? I dunno. I do remember playing the PS1 version of FF6, and that DID have some CGI cutscenes here and there.
@Spycrab!: Hey guys how come nobody told me there was a party
The fact that save points aren't too far apart DOES contribute to the "just one more"-ness.
The true test of any RPG is the "just one more save point" test. You know, where you reach a save point and it's a good time to stop playing, but you figure you'll go on for juuuust one more save point.
@Nexus6: It's just a flesh wound.
@CthulhuPal: Huh... Look at the screen on the machine. Johnny Cage clearly likes losing at fighting games. Unless he's elbowing the machine in rage.
I'm PRETTY sure just walking out of the house, to the mailbox (about 10 meters) and back to the car doesn't count as 200 steps. I guess the jacket the 3DS was in could have been jostled.
I'm a few hours into FF13, and actually kinda liking it. It's a pretty easy game - so far I haven't even come close to dying outside of the first gestalt battle, and that was just because I misunderstood something. But while I do miss the town segments, otherwise it's a pretty engaging game.
I know. Going to the US for the first time (I'm Norwegian) and discovering signs that say "PEDS CROSSING" was slightly disturbing.
I'm a little sad about living in such a sparsely populated area. Between all the stores around the two neighboring towns here, I'm sure there are, at most, maybe 20 or 30 3DSes spread out over a total population (in the two towns) of about 6000. You have to drive for an hour to get between these two towns.
Well, I DID encounter him as an on-the-ground ally troop in Vanquish, and I THINK he survived until the end of that mission, so I guess that makes him fairly badass. 'Cause, well, that mission was full of bullet- and missile-hell.
@natedogXVI: Really, the same goes for any media in which you get a limited amount of time to portray a developing relationship. How many *realistic* relationships have you seen in movies or TV series?
In other news, the creators of "Will & Grace" were recently lynched by a mob for their portrayal of the highly controversial Jack McFarland. And it all started with an Internet petition.
