Copious amounts of explicity are noted.

@Pojodin: I SAY TURKISH WRESTLING IS A VERB! Also doubletake, from now on.

@Duuuuuuude: The Youtube frame for that showed "I'M A CUCK" and I doubletaked (doubletook?).

Now get Doom or an emulator running on that thing, and it goes from "cruel" to "genius".

Another little "perk" of being new to MMOing: Realizing that it's an update day and instead of playing right now, you have to wait for three hours of downloading before you can play.

Well, that's what I mean... The point of various characters' weapons is to add stuff like the HP limit break to them, so that when the WEAKEST of the Dark Aeons does 12000 damage per hit, you get to actually survive it.

Really, it's all about the games. You want to play Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep, or Third Birthday, or any of the other PSP exclusives? Well, you've still got to buy a PSP. It's going to take a while for the NGP to come out, after all, and there's no guarantee those games will see digital rereleases.

I didn't mind the sphere grid thing. What I minded was that you could screw up your entire post-game by not realizing that there was a speshul way to upgrade the one super-special weapon you got before almost literally ALL of them were hidden behind bosses that you need specially upgraded special weapons to beat.

@eternalbl: Having a huge backlog of games makes this pretty much a necessity. There are exceptions, though. Some games, you kinda have to play while they're fresh. I got DC Universe Online on the release date because I wanted to see what it was like to join my first MMO in the launch period, before everyone had

@DeadnBuried: Yeah, running away from enemies INTO NEW TERRITORY is the wrong way. As you've experienced, they WILL be right on your butt, and then you have to fight them AND more enemies at the same time.

I don't really see the "race to the finish" point - as has been mentioned elsewhere here, people will play how they want to play - but I can see the point with all the slow-mo/skillshot stuff. One of the main complaints about the multiplayer in New Super Mario Bros Wii was that the game would freeze for a moment

MK2 had people losing a whole body's worth of blood from one uppercut. And no, people continue fighting just fine after getting bones shattered, or even having their liver frozen and crushed.

Healing spells. Especially if they heal fatigue. Feeling tired at the end of a long workday? Throw on a quick Regen spell. Paper cut? Basic healing spell. Broke your back falling down a cliff? Grumble a bit and throw on a Fullheal. Cancer? Cure! Accidentally shot someone in the head? Life 2!

I see they've taken a leaf out of the Tekken juggling system with this one, and it looks about as silly. I do like how all the juggle attacks seem to hit at the groin, though.
