@Cleesox: Press X for BAD DOG.

@FariFlux: Even if the 3DS isn't multitouch, there IS some advantage to having two styluses (stylii?) in certain games. Some missions in the first Trauma Center are apparently pretty much unplayable unless you speed up things by introducing a second stylus, since you can tap one part of the screen with one, and then

At some point, I wanna be the guy doing the cheesy bad-guy grunts in ads like this or low-budget cartoons. I've even practiced. "Heh-heh-hennnh!"

@aktheon: I take it you haven't played Uncharted. Otherwise you'd know that Drake's character is far from defined by his looks.

@Koztah: What this guy said. I dunno how PS3s work, but if it's anything like any computer I've had, it'll shut down if it overheats.

@Drogmir: This. At least they'll have a whole gaggle of interesting characters to use, so they won't have to resort to "filler" characters.

@2NinjasTapedTogether: I've been getting all the trade paperbacks of both Fables and Jack of Fables so far. There was definitely a little bit of a downturn with the start of the following story, though I still enjoyed them, but "Witches" picks up the pace again. There are lots and lots of good moments. @hisfriendjames: EDIT: Dammit, I keep forgetting that HTML codes don't work on Kotaku. Never mind!

Speaking as another MMO newb, I'm still considering whether or not I'll renew the subscription when it runs out in a week. I'll likely keep it going for another month... The post-30 content is sorta interesting, though man, it does take a while to save up for good gear.

@dowingba: The phantom mindflayer in 3-2 is mean, but some decent ranged spells or arrows should do the trick. I'd usually just get up close enough that he wouldn't start shooting stuff at me, and then start firing arrows while backing away, at times breaking lock to run away, get a little more distance between me

@Arsenic13: Fuck yo Batcave! Fuck yo Batcave!

@Recoil: Also, it's lighter. By a fraction, yeah, but still... A lot of those cases add up.

Reminds me a bit of the Slime Controller that was made for Dragon Quest 8. The thing looks freaking awesome, but holding a controller like that while also maintaining control... Well, suffice to say, you'll only be playing it with turn-based games.

@Squishpoke: Your Kotaku name has never been more appropriate.

That's what you THINK, but it's actually an RTS.

@Armageddon: I've been to Scotland.

The "which weapon to upgrade into what" thing in the game is very much a "guide dang it" thing. Basically, once you've got the right weapon at the right level, you'll see the special-weapon thing available as one of its upgrade options.

For anyone putting points into Powers in DC Universe Online: If you intend to solo any of the later quests, the "Super-Strength" power is really insanely useful. At least if you're a healer, like me. Picking up huge stuff and throwing it pretty much saved my butt several times, as it MORE than makes up for the minor

I'm not going to spoil too much, but you want to use the "talk to" option on everyone until they start repeating themselves. One dude will start talking about a really HOT soul of some kind, that would make it possible to make really neat stuff. Wonder what soul that could be...?
