@DrZaius: Whuh? How's Gen and Rufus alike? Hell, Gen plays more like Adon than Rufus in SSF4.

@mrClint: They're the same type of exploratory/storybook games, except that the Ace Attorney games are more about the testimonies and such, and Layton wraps that storybook type thing around a collection of puzzles that may or may not have anything to do with the story.

@PAULINK: Considering how important having all moves available for all the characters is, I figure they're more likely to find some sort of shortcut for the Ultra motion. Like, say, using MP+HP for Ultra and LP+MP for EX. And of course, you ought to be able to set any button as a 3-button macro anyway. Maybe a tap on

@SquareWheel: With the extra power this one has, I've no doubt that once it's cracked, you'll be running perfectly emulated versions of all those. The PSP has an almost-perfect GBA emulator already today.

@Enrique Bello: You smell iPad? That's funny... I'd recognize the smell of a new DS anywhere, and man, it is certainly just reeking of new DS.

@no computers in texas: Well, the 3DS, much like the original DS, has the touchscreen that allows for a modicum of mouse-like control. I do agree that I would've liked to have a second analog as well, but the touchscreen makes for an extra input that the PSP lacks anyway. It's not perfect, but it's better than

@Frankazoid: Oh, heck yeah. I still count it as a Mario game, and one of the best ones, at that.

@Frankazoid: Yoshi's Island was never really "Super Mario World 2" except in the US, where they thought it needed the moniker to sell.

I'd also disagree that games like "Geometry Wars" don't need an Internet connection. The online leaderboards are part of the reason why they're addictive, and catching up to the point score of your friends even moreso.

@ctzreturns: Lies! Yoshi's Island is the best!

@Dodge2002: Final Fantasy is already a diverse enough series that they could easily have put different titles on a bunch of the games, and gotten away with it (but for the chocobo/cid references and spell names, of course). The "Final Fantasy" brand just provides them with a familiar name and base to make whatever

Props to the Mario list for putting "Superstar Saga" up high. But seriously: "Minis March Again" and "Yoshi's Island DS" better than "Bowser's Inside Story"? I HAVE CHORTLES!

@otherface: Spread it out a little. Go get Valkyria Chronicles. Trust me, it's awesome.

So there's a Super Street Fighter 4 Arcade location test going on in Japan, three months or so before the game gets released. And the Shoryuken.com topic for it is hilariously panicky about some of the changes, like Seth losing his Neutraljump/Backjump stretchy-arms hard punch. This even though it's just a test of an

@Outkastprince: Ironically, FF12 originally got "WTF" responses from the FF purists, since it played more like an MMO. And after having received the polar opposite in FF13, more people are realizing that hey, maybe it wasn't such a bad thing after all.

@KaitoKid: Can't ever go wrong with more Ace Attorney. I wouldn't say I'm EXCITED as such (after all, I've played all the gamee so far), but I am amiable towards purchasing it once it's out.

@Xeo: What he said! I just hope it's more of an announcement than "yeah, that really was Yun and Yang in Ono's tweets". Even though it'll be nice to see some actual gameplay with them.

@alienzetton: Apparently the 360 has a good control system for it. Also, you can use the Move control system on the PS3.
