@Madness87: Getting to new areas and doing new stuff with different characters is one thing. "There are freaking bananas all over the level for all five characters and you have to collect every single damn one of them" is an entirely different matter :)

@splatternick: Odin Sphere being a sprite-based game, it wouldn't really benefit much from the HD thing unless they completely redid all the sprites SSF2HD-style.

@daydreamsurfer: Well, the new system can play regular DS games, too, ya know?

Still early enough for me to resist getting a DSi to replace my aging DS Lite. I was pondering doing that this summer, but now I save my money for the 3D goodness instead.

"Wow! Even better than mama! You steal baby now! Do much better job always!"

@yousofi: ... Dammit, you're right. Get Kelsey Grammer over to Capcom HQ, stat

@Xeo: He never did get rid of that habit of scratching himself behind his ears with his foot, though.

@yousofi: Well, at least Blanka doesn't have Frasier's voice.

The reason this isn't a full-body shot is that he refused to wear pants. Also, getting him to hold the pipe like that took something like fifty tries. Totally worth it, though.

Aw. Here I was going to make the obvious "Eileen is at 50 percent health. Stupid cheap moves" etc. joke, and you HAD to specify that it wasn't going to tweet stuff like move cancellation. Shame on you for ruining my fun! Shame!

"You guys totally make the best shoomps ever!"

@Nethlem: Well, yeah. The trick is to stop thinking of the Wiimote as a light gun and start thinking of it as mouse-aiming. Because as a pointer, the Wiimote has always been more of a mouse than a light gun. This is partly why gun attachments are a bit silly... You can't treat the 'mote any more like a gun just by

@jayunreal: The best way to play Mario Kart Wii by far is with a nunchuk/Wiimote combination. Shaking the 'mote lets you do tricks, and you steer with the thumbstick.

Just that SLIGHTLY bigger top screen would do me nicely. As has been said elsewhere in the comments here (and elsewhere), the touchscreen makes a second analogue stick-thing less necessary, and I fear a placement like the mockup there would be too uncomfortable. At least one hand needs to hold the thing properly.

@vid3oman64: Yep. One sets the camera to continous snapping, and it takes something like thirty pictures a second if it's a really awesome camera. So that one picture is probably one in a series of hundreds, if not thousands of that one bear.

You tried to call it "Fuckface", didn't you? Shame on you! Shame! Kinect will not accept!

@Joe Hurst: The good: The DS, since the DS is popular and popular = good. At least by high school rules.

I still wonder if there'll be non-3D games that instead utilize the extra processing power to do extra-awesome graphics.

Vacation time is almost here! So it's time for portable games. What're your favorite vacation games?

HAL, you shut the disk tray. Open the god damn disk tray, HAL!
