@Superspecs: Oh, don't worry. When you get to G1 and everyone mysteriously punishes the hell out of your flame shoryuken, you'll find that it's much easier to pick Ryu and do random LP shoryukens, often several in a row. Or pick Blanka and only do laggy matches.

@bakagaijin: This actually makes sense for how ports tend to work these days. When a game is engineered to take full advantage of the PS3, things start looking sharper, but jaggier on the 360. When a game is engineered to work best on the 360 (Grand Theft Auto 4, for instance), the PS3 version gets a tad too blurry.

@peteer02: From the discussions I've read on Shoryuken, the reason why Boxer's not top tier any more is that most of his stuff can be reacted to... He doesn't have many proper mixups, and so while he's hard to get in on, once you have a life lead and he has to come to you, a player with good reflexes and matchup…

@VincentGrey: There was a US Street Fighter cartoon. It was pretty horrible. Ryu and Ken were pretty much a gay couple (not that there's anything wrong with that), Guile was the main character, the fights were awkward as hell. Look for a "worst moments" type video on Youtube.
