I’d love to use my buggy, but I don’t see how “building a base on a single world” and “exploring countless words” fit together. If I can get my buggy on my freighter, I’m down.

So glad you are back and doing better. The site wasn’t the same without you.

I might get back into it. I just wish that instead of base building you were ship building. It seems silly in a game about flying from planet to planet you build an immovable base on one planet. :/

Strangely, this floppy mace has done more to bring me closer to playing WoW again than anything else they have done.

I know this feeling, but for me it has always been the Tauren starting place, Camp Narache. I grew up in New Mexico, and Narache, Bloodhoof and the Barrens in general feel like home.

Wasn’t this included in The Grapes of Wrath?

Shouldn’t he be pretty easy to catch--being the only fish in the pond?

Shit--in 5 more years, RSI can apply to be a religion and become tax exempt.

I just pray that none of the Star Citizen backers receive emails from exiled Nigerian princes.

Of course it couldn’t have anything to do with their interface being a steaming pile of shit, could it? Whoever thought that “We’ll start streaming shit while you’re just trying to read the description” was a good idea should get a good punch in the junk.

Hell is other people.

I’m on your side, Dennis. It says he ordered 2 beers. I would take him at his word. I’d love to see how your co-workers interpret the sentence, “I checked into the hotel, ate 5 meals, then left.”

This card/deck is the kind of thing that made me quit Magic. You are either chasing expensive cards on the secondary market, or losing games. People argue that skill is involved, but that skill doesn’t become a factor until you have a $600 deck. Give a pro player a pre-con and he’ll lose like everyone else.

Let this serve as a warning: no matter how bad things are, they can get worse.

“It is difficult to get a man to understand something, when his salary depends on his not understanding it.”

No. He liked a bunch of shit that gave him publicity/praise. What that was—HIV/AIDS, homeless labradoodles, free lasagna for the homeless—was unimportant.

I wouldn’t be surprised to hear that someone had to explain to him (repeatedly) the difference between HIV and IPv6.

It’s funny, but all of these seems like fashion-chasing nonsense to me. All of these ideas sound like “this thing plus this other thing”, not “this thing plus this thing that no one has thought of”.

Two things struck me here:
