A minor thing maybe, but this seems like a dumb mechanic to include in the first place.

I mean, COD Mobile is a thing.

WHY ISN’T THIS CALLED A DUDUDUNSPARCE?

Do it! Do it now! Erect the Great Paywall!

This is like having Kanye on now.  Having Chapelle now is a political statement, I’ll be interested to see who skips the episode.  Don’t be surprised if Dave ends his set by endorsing DeSantis.

It’s still mind blowing that there are people that think the “anti-fascists” are somehow the bad guys. ANTI-FASCIST... against fascism... let that sink in for a second... What the hell kind of simulator are we living in right now?

...President Trump’s erroneous tweets about “Antifa,”...

Trump could eat a baby and he wouldn’t lose a voter.

If the blue check doesn’t even require a verification of identity, what is literally the purpose of the blue check? If that’s the case, Musk is seriously lowering the actual value of the blue check at the same moment he’s adding a cost to it. Brain genius indeed.

My experience with SBMM, which isn’t in CoD, admittedly, was that it made the game very unfun because instead of matching you with players of equal skill, the focus was clearly on giving you a 50% or very slightly higher win rate. This was in WoW’s arenas. If you lost a match, they’d put you against much weaker team,

It’s not fair though. The matchmaking is not skill based. The match making is based on how your previous games’ performances were so they can manipulate you into playing longer.

Premade group of 6 vs individual players is a big problem for SBMM though.

I think the consensus is that WHATEVER they were doing a decade ago was better. Its one of those odd scenarios where there is a difference between SBMM and “SBMM”.

I think CODs is notoriously bad at it, even among shooters.

Ehhh, SBMM in a lot of games feels like it is actually “force people to a 50% win rate”. Meaning if you have a good game or two (even if you just eek out two wins), it seems to want to put you in a “Get stomped” game.

I personally think there should just be SBMM and non-SBMM lobbies.  Let people pick what they want to play.

IDK if Vanguard has SBMM but my friends would not play with me because they would not have a fun time in my matches. Them not playing with me made me not play, I expect the same in MWII.

There was SBMM in the past, it was just tuned better so people didn’t notice it as much. That and back when lobbys didn’t auto disband, once you found a lobby that your skill level fit into, you could just stay there so you could kind of “dodge” matchmaking by staying in the same lobby.

I’m in no way against SBMM but in MW2019 it was a little strong. It seemed to take the skill of only your last few matches into account instead of averaging your whole match history. I did an experiment where I played 3 matches without using sprint or aiming down sights. the 4th match I was put into a game with the

The SBMM in COD has not been great over the past few games, it is very rubberbandy where you will have 1-2 fine games and then you will get dropped into a lobby where you just get destroyed by people.
