Top ten Ian Walkers who should be fired from their jobs immediately

I get this is a comedic article and all, and I’m glad it’s not a slideshow, but I was expecting actual text entries explaining each choice.

The fact that it was almost coherently written and distinctly short on spurious capitalization and misspellings was a dead giveaway as well.

Isn’t that some sort of oxymoron?

It doesnt because it isnt indexed on the web. I have to join the discord. Then I have to search for a phrase or group of words. Then I have to try and track the conversation in room full of people talking about separate things where the discussion may or may not be replies to comments but just comments. So I have to

It really doesn’t. Sure, say you search up “lag fix” on Discord. Well, now you’ll have to spend upwards of 20 minutes combing through every time somebody mentioned those two words in a conversation ever. As well, those Discord answers don’t show in search engines, meaning you won’t be able to enjoy simply typing in

Reddit makes a lot more sense than discord.  I’m not a huge reddit fan for video games because the upvote system just creates an echo chamber, but it’s better than a fancy live chat client.

The biggest argument for forums is that if I go to Google or DDG and type in:

While not a perfect fit, I feel the better move would be to go to Reddit. But I guess they went with Discord because it’s the more ‘gamer-y’ platform, despite how people actually use it.

I’ve pretty much now cut off all my friends who decided to “vote their conscience” in 2016...which somehow meant staying home or voting for Trump (!) but not Hillary. I can’t forgive them now.

Votes have consequences. People could not hold their nose or lift their butts off the couch to vote for Hillary, so an easily-manipulated autocratic buffoon got to power, and now we’re on the path to exchanging a somewhat screwed-up democracy (where voters do not elect directly the most powerful figure of government) f

“Worse than anyone imagined.”

Fucking Discovery. Just killing shows left and right. Don’t they realize they need content for HBO Max? This was good and I’m sure it’s cheaper to make than a lot of other shows. Seemed like it’d be an easy call to keep it going

So, Chinese word processing software can detect and lock your doc if it detects “bad words or ideas” but Twitter and Facebook can’t figure out how to get their software to flag when someone posts about wanting to go shoot some place up?

Where did you get the idea that only surprises are news?

The antifa and BLM boogeymen are working overtime in the tiny, fevered minds of Trumpland. It’s all projection. Anything a fascist Trumper accuses someone else of, they want to or already have done. Remember umbrella man?

18 years after Roe v Wade was decided crime rates and counts started plummeting. In almost every major category of crime tracked by the FBI, rates and counts are around half of what they were before 1991's peaks. The only exception is rape, and there’s a case to be made that it’s being reported more often, rather than

Imagine being a company the size of Bethesda and not bothering to ask a few employees about your Tweet wording before posting it.

So, look, I know we’re trying to make this story visible and a “thing.” I gave Jez the benefit of the doubt when it came to Griner articles but this one is quite something.

President Biden is set to nominate anti-abortion Republican lawyer Chad Meredith to a lifetime federal judgeship in Kentucky, reportedly in exchange for Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R) “agreeing not to hold up future federal nominations by the Biden White House.”
