It’s bullshit that a previous judge ruled that the work has to be registered to be protected, because in America, copyright is automatic. You make it, it’s copyrighted immediately. That a copyright has to be registered to be useful is a slap in the face of the intent of copyright protection.

They’ll probably settle out of court for an ‘undisclosed sum’ and continue to do this skeevy practice.

It’s a good show. My one complaint about it is the lack of boy characters, not because “Oh no I can’t identify with girls” but because I wish boys got to see similarly nuanced portrayals of themselves on TV.
