I’m still just disappointed that Nintendo went with Illumination to make it as cheaply as possible instead of using either an anime producer or a better CG company. I feel like it was a pretty uncharacteristically cynical move from a company that usually puts experience and fun before unfettered capitalism.

What about the Robots?  If I’m getting Love and Death from a streaming service, I expect there at least to also be Robots.

The period is literally part of the name. I could see that tripping up a screen reader, maybe, but a full-brained person? Seems unlikely.

In that picture Jonah Hill looks like someone wearing a bag with Jonah Hill’s face printed on it

I’m pretty okay with this.  If anything they should jack up the prices to prevent it from being used so widely for shit like the spam articles that take up so much space in Google search results nowadays.

Skinamarink is an extremely boring nothingburger of a movie.  The quicker it’s forgotten, the better as more people won’t be wasting their time staring at blank walls and listening to Looney Tunes in the next room.

Somehow Palpatine returned...

Good!  Black Ops II on Wii U is still the best experience I’ve ever had with a CoD game.

There is no ranked/unranked in CoD. The SBMM forces everyone to sweat in every game mode.  What’s worse is that it weighs pretty heavily against the oldschool connection-based matchmaking so you also get way higher ping and longer times to get into matches as you improve.

I’m definitely one of the ones who found it laughable and interminably boring.

Pocket Dungeon is way too hard for me even with all of the easy settings enabled, so I felt similarly about it. Shovel Knight Dig though is still promising for me, especially with the Mr. Driller/SteamWorld Dig vibes (two of my favourite games).

“And that, kids, is when we learned to never trust another AV Club review again.”

You’re right, I see it now.  I re-read the article a couple of times and still missed it somehow.

This came up when I put in McDonald’s. We truly are in the golden age of the Internet:

I didn’t see anywhere in this article that said what she did to violate her parole. The Washington Post says:

The majority of these games look like they started their lives as PS4 games. Not seeing too much that screams actual current gen exclusive, really.

Dang, what a hunk.

Either way that’s still one of the best scenes in the movie.

I make a point of watching it every Halloween, so I’m definitely in the “enjoys it greatly” camp.
