I think long-term successful adoption of these products is going to hinge on price.  If they can undercut the price of beef burgers while maintaining the environmental/animal rights factors then it’s a big win for everyone.

I would use Costco online more if their prices and selection were any good on there.  At least in Canada, Costco online has more or less no food or sundry staples and everything else is 50% or more expensive than it would be in-store.  It’s more like it exists to actively encourage people just to brave the crowded…
