I found Mega Stuff on a trip to the States recently. My life shall never be the same.

Hey-o!

To be fair Smedley was all like “I caught a lion so now I’m gonna shake the cage until either the lock pops open or it pisses off the other lions.” He could’ve been more professional and just said that he was disappointed in the miscarriage of justice and would donate money to like the EFF or something to work toward

Yep, just keep shovelling out the DLC. Glad to know they’re putting all of their resources into fixing the PC version like they said and that they’ll show how sorry they are by selling us more crap that won’t work.

There are plenty of characters worse than Tree Trunks. Jake Jr.’s face is horrifying for no good reason for one thing.

The more matte texturing is fine, it’s just the lack of contrast that looks like it might be an issue.

I agree, they say they have a “new lighting engine”, but in practice that seems to have just made everything brighter instead of better.

Yep, my old 4S will basically just be permanently installed. Kind of a pain you can’t use the most modern large phones though

/end of thread.

Now let’s hope this is an added incentive for them to maybe throw the porting team under the bus and do it right themselves even if we have to download a patch the entire size of the game.

The problem ended up being that Arkham Knight does not support using older Nvidia GPUs as dedicated PhysX cards.

I figured out that it was because I was using a 500-series GPU as a dedicated PhysX card and apparently that’s not cool to do anymore. The game still doesn’t play amazingly, but at least I have the gameworks effects, I guess.

Tip #-1:

The shiny GameWorks stuff is even just straight-up disabled on Nvidia 700-series and lower cards that aren’t even very old yet. The 780 often performs as good or better than the 970 in modern games, but you can’t even enable those effects by editing the .ini files with those cards.

Oh, okay. I didn’t know that. Still, these things in game purgatory should be finished before new projects get started.

That’s like the Day-Z guy announcing that new game at E3. Maybe everyone should finish the games they’re working on first? Maybe?

Counter-point: It’s gone.

Alright! I’ve been waiting for the TurboGrafx-16 Assassin’s Creed: Enough Already!

Aside from thinking that it looks fun but won’t have enough content, this was my only other problem with it.

If you buy the $20 pack you don’t actually get the game, just “cash cards”, but the game is showing up as being “included” in the pack.
