I had backed that game at a pretty high level too. :/ I think a lot of the hesitations people had stemmed from the game’s lack of length and potential lack of substance in the first-person portions with its focus on linearity and the odd inclusion of the low-res arcade game mechanics.

Also no mention of Wii U yet. I know it won’t look as good, but Black Ops II on the Wii U was the most fun I’ve had with a CoD game since the first Modern Warfare.
Fallout/Borderlands-like setting, sure, but I’m getting more of a Red Faction Guerrilla meets Batman Arkham City vibe from the gameplay parts. I’d still want it to have more personality than what we’ve seen so far, so I’m staying here on my fence until further information is revealed.
They probably could have announced it better or something. When I received the PR email I was excited at the prospect of a new proper Overlord game but I’m pretty meh about them using the Overlord brand for a Diablo clone instead. Could it be alright in a Torchlight II kind of way? Perhaps. Will it be that good?…
