My thoughts exactly. It should be pretty apparent by now that they didn't put that level of work into the story or mythos.

I'm more referring to lower quality visual effects and cheap thrills.

Looks better than the previous ones, but I think they've probably gone too far off The Avengers end of the scale. My guess right now is that it could be a decent generic summer flick, but it's not going to reach greatness just by copying every other superhero movie.

Video games can be too long just like any piece of entertainment. There can be drawn out and unnecessarily wordy portions of books/movies and TV shows can often get stretched beyond the means of their narratives.

Ha, so close to me trying it. Just one more half-step to f2p and I might play it for a couple more hours. I was not at all impressed by the beta back in the day, but it might serve as a half decent way to while away the time until the next big Bethesda RPG once they remove the remaining barriers to entry.
