I managed to play it at E3 expecting nothing and ended up impressed. My videos didn't turn out well enough to post, but I did an impressions article about it — plus we'll be giving away beta keys later in the week as we got quite a few:

Oh, no! The vapours!

My wallet is going to openly weep come "Early 2013" with the billion or so AAA games that have been pushed back until then.

No, these are just general vampires. The ones from Nightwatch/Daywatch were of a very particular sort and mythos, and most importantly didn't change into giant bat-monsters, they just had special powers.

The mystery square is almost definitely not a button. Check out the analysis here:

It's so much like the first season of Look Around You that I think it's probably just a straight-up parody of it, there's no way that it's a coincidence.

As I discovered with Blockbuster, unsecured creditors basically get jack when all is said and done.

Darn, wasn't fast enough with my joke. "It's the first literal puzzle game." : D

Next it'll be Flake the hog and Finnelope the... transvestite? : O

Well, he used to be an adventurer anyways...

I started watching with pretty low expectations and ended up quite impressed. It's nice when that happens on the internet — twice a decade.

*thumbs up*

That.... was pretty boring. Like looking at my Vita now that I've played my launch game selection through.

If the Wii U comes out at $250 it's definitely not going to contain any impressive hardware and will end up in as sorry a state as the Wii — full of shovelware pony adventure games and occasional significantly inferior ports of the "real" games available on the other two systems.

They couldn't do any worse running EA than EA already is. The only thing I'd be worried about is even MORE microtransactions.

Only game I've ever fallen asleep while playing is Turok 2: Seeds of Evil. That was a good game back in the day.

I'm a sucker for Bugles and Rold Gold pretzels. :d

They were straying too far from the spirit (both literally and metaphorically) of the original game anyways.

I wonder what he was playing with his crappy old PC controller.
