Honestly, this will be the first GTA that I've ever finished the story. I got fed up with the time it took to have to start everything over again, and just caused havoc in the streets instead. Having said that, they could easily patch in an option to turn on/off the checkpoint system.

There are several instances where you can't swap to characters or use them for some reason or another, hope that didn't ruin anything for you. :) Of course the way Trevor behaves, you could imagine him not welcome wherever he goes lol.
