Great read! I was so wrapped up in telling my story that I forgot to tie it into modern gaming. I literally can't stand the CoD and BF crowd anymore - both for their behavior, and mine. I'm the type of guy now that plays as many games as time allows (which isn't much). Gamefly and PSN+ are my friends. I have yet

I couldn't agree more. The early years of EQ were some of my favorite in gaming and in real life. I remember the beginning, stepping out into the forest and seeing "real people!!" fighting spiders, bats, and rats. Contesting orc hill and trains on both sides of the Crushbone zone. Paying for an escort because I

I couldn't agree more. By that last level I was f***ing AMPED. Down, dirty, and nasty shootouts... not careful, not graceful.... just brutal. Diving onto the conveyor belts, run and gun, and some bloody good bullet time. I actually died repeatedly because of the way I was playing, so I didn't even know that the

Hmm. This makes me want to play an "Advent Rising" or "Too Human" sequel.

It's normally a skill used for creating a human hat or towel rack.

I get what you're going for - it's interesting to see the Oculus Rift being designed, refined, and perfected for VR... and at the same time AR is going to grow through advances made across several products (the 3DS, for example, and I'm sure all the built in Kinects on the XB1 will take advantage of this as well).

Ohhhhh man, thanks! I'm not the only one!

Amen, Matt. "Hard Candy" made me scared of ever dating a younger woman again. I recently saw her in "The East", and would highly recommend that you check it out. Don't watch the trailer if you can get away with it, I'm guessing that if you liked HC, you'll like this. She was also good as part of the ensemble in

Half Life 3 confirmed?

Autumn for Australia - their seasons are flipped from the US =) Believe it's still Q1 Spring 2014.

Brink didn't live up to the hype, but there are so many ideas in that game that I wish others would adopt. The traversal was fun, I loved the multi-class system roles and being able to swap out to chase down mini-objectives as well. I'm not the best aim in FPS games, so I appreciated ranking up as a medic or

Honestly, this will be the first GTA that I've ever finished the story. I got fed up with the time it took to have to start everything over again, and just caused havoc in the streets instead. Having said that, they could easily patch in an option to turn on/off the checkpoint system.

There are several instances where you can't swap to characters or use them for some reason or another, hope that didn't ruin anything for you. :) Of course the way Trevor behaves, you could imagine him not welcome wherever he goes lol.

Found it - Bob Mullet's - located near Michael's house in the hills in the NW of the city. Haha, Trevor was temporarily exiled from the city due to the point of the story I was in, so I died about 5 times and was chased by all manner of gunmen while trying to get his head shaved. It made sense though, because it was

Hold select, it's one of the options - it's $100 at early levels. You can also quick select ATM's, etc. Alter your appearance, change your taunt emotes, highlight other players on the map, commit suicide, etc.

Not sure if you mean in game (on the map, etc)? If you hold select (I think) one of the options is to highlight players of your choosing as a different color blip on the map. It was handy to have with people that I was trying to play with.

No game of "let's punch a car"? Accidental elbow murder while robbing stores? Who can car surf longer? I bet I can die before you by faceplanting on the cement jumping three stories down? The old "bail out of the car before it shoots over the cliff with your friend in it" fun? Haha =) I couldn't figure out what

Haha, so I ended up with a girl too. Definitely a dude playing a girl. My tag is "Mr Jagermeister", so there's no hiding it. But I'm gonna stick with it, because she looks hilarious. After dying, with 100% health, she appears in cutscenes and walking around looking like she just fell down the stairs and got run

I believe I read that they turned off the actual missions, and everything right now is just random stuff to do. Hope that's the case, anyway. I screwed around most of the time I played anyway... and checked out some playlists.

Lol, the first person that didn't try to kill me immediately became my partner in crime. We'd walk around, giving the entire world the finger, accidentally elbowing each other to death while robbing convenience stores, diving off water towers, car surfing, parkour... you know, fun stuff! So I decide after a while of
