Did any of you ever go for the Big Boss achievement in MGS4? I remember a discussion a while back on Kotaku about it and I identified so much with another poster's sentiment: "That motorcycle part: FUUUUUUUUUUU..." If you've tried for it, you know that part I'm (we're) talking about.

First playthrough of Demon's Souls. Trying to beat 4-2 on Pure Black World Tendency (Halloween special event!) WITHOUT the Thief's Ring (I didn't even know how to get it at the time). This was when the Souls games were still relatively new and I didn't realize that you can just run past enemies and don't have to fight

Lol, me too. My first time I thought it was faster to run from the Firekeeper bonfire rather than the Solaire one. So much running from bonfire to fog gate. My thumbs ache just thinking about it.

Anyone remember this gem from Final Fantasy X? I can't believe I've done it twice, once in college, once ten years later as a father of 3.

OMG, I love this story. Brought back so many memories of playing Doom and Doom 2 as a teenager with my friends (I must be a bit older than you) for HOURS AND HOURS. So much fun.

I forgot about the Demon Wall in VI, but vividly remember the Demon Wall in IV. I think that was the first boss battle I remember that had a time component (Bahamut, later, had a similar "countdown" condition that put the pressure on). The first time I fought it the wall got right up against my party and I was like

I played a lot of Warhawk back in the day. Then my internet broke and I couldn't get the replacement service to work with the PS3. My Warhawk days were done, but man was that a fun game!

I had never heard of this, so I looked up a video. Pretty impressive mapwork to be sure.

Have you seen this? It's about the most metal thing I've ever seen on the internet: A rock concert in Hell played to a crowd of demons and zombies on a stage covered with a pentagram and loomed over by the Icon of Sin! Out Metal That!

Or perhaps, Winter Storm Ultimecia?

Spectacular. Very well done.

My contenders:

How did she work the landing so she didn't come down with a ton of weight on her left elbow on that hard floor? Or did she and she JUST DIDN'T CARE!!!

It was Viper, indeed! The blade mail was for PA, Bloodseeker, and PL. But I kept forgetting to activate it until I was at like 1/2 health and then it was too late. Story of my Dota life.

Seriously. I'm almost at 700 hours and I don't think there's any way that I'm even a top 50% player (and not only because my W/L ratio is about 48%/52%). Sometimes I can blame my teammates, but most times there's no one to blame but myself. I just can't handle more than 2 active items; I had a game this week where I

I've seen this in my YouTube subscriptions, but I mostly watch Oroboro for his playthroughs, so I've never watched this. Fantastic. I have to hope that got nerfed at some point because OP.

Mr. Buford,

Absolutely fantastic. I'm mesmerized.

Ha! Maybe it's because I'm old, married, have a bunch of kids, and am overall pretty set in my identity that I don't feel the need to express my perceived dominance over random recreational DotA users on the internet to make myself feel good. Lots of people do though; go figure. It's actually really fun when I stick

Might I suggest Ursa, Bloodseeker, Drow Ranger, Crystal Maiden, or Lich. Watch a quick video on their powers (like the hero spotlights by DotaCinema) and what role they play, and then go have fun.
