I don't have the patience for import RPGs, but you're right, Ys games are fairly straightforward. Plus, there's always FAQs to help you out.

I think alot of people see Satoshi Urishihara's art and think that, but there's just as many people who probably see his hentai work and say "hey it's art from that guy who makes strategy RPGs." He's been working with Career Soft since the original Langrisser came out in 1991, so he's been involved with gaming for…
Ironically, that is the game that would make me buy a Vita without pause.
As the great Thundercleese once said, "Time is an abstract concept created by mortals to mark their decay."
Jason, it fills me with alot of hope to hear such praise about Last Story vs. Xenoblade. Like you, I thought Xenoblade was a good game, just not a GREAT game. I lost interest in that title fairly quickly. I'm hoping that Last Story will dig its claws into me much deeper. From what I've read, it's a tighter, more…
I'm not sure if you're being sarcastic or not, but it totally will work. I've done similar exchanges on multiple occasions. You just have to be careful not to abuse the lenient return policy habitually. If you don't have a receipt, they'll take alot of info down in their system, and if they see you do it ALL the…
Buy the 360 version. When copy arrives, do not open it, return it to a physical Walmart location: "my mom bought this for me as a gift, but got me the wrong version, I'm sorry I don't have a receipt, but I just want to exchange it for the PS3 version." Acquire PS3 version for $15.
The Bandai Pippin makes me so happy. One day that gap in my "obscure console" collection will be filled.
Thanks for reminding me that that game exists. It's like $10 on Amazon right now. Do want.
I totally believe you . . . and yet the mind boggles at how that's even possible.
The sprite work is really lovely on the Commando game. I'm very much getting a Metal Slug vibe off of it. I don't recall it being too well received when it originally came out though. Did anyone play the old retail release?

As someone who spends alot of his time wishing that he had gone to school for carpentry and woodworking, I have to say, that gorgeous wooden interior is making me drool. Super tasteful home. The outside isn't too ostentatious either. Well met Pincus.
Agreed. I'd also even consider a collector's edition if the treats were good enough, which is unheard of for me these days.
The Emperor Protects.
I think you're even being generous with that statement. You'd lose alot of rotini down the sink with that strainer. FF8's got some biiiiiiig holes.
Its' my favorite too. You're not alone. It's the only entry in the series to achieve the maturity that modern iterations shoot for, while maintaining and celebrating the sense of exploration and childlike wonderment that made the earlier entries so engaging. Perfect balance.
The voice cast was great. Ray Winstone makes anything better.
I love it too. The whole movie is a film buff's wet dream. Also . . . the animation. The filth and fur and the dewey eyeballs. So beautiful in its ugliness.
Thanks for understanding.
