Not really what I was implying at all. Folks can like whatever they like. I'm simply saying that Rango is a film that benefits from a viewer more versed in film history (particularly the Western genre) and more practiced in film analysis. All I meant to imply is that people who don't like to examine movies for

It's not necessarily the plot or story that requires alot of thought, but the premise of the film. There is alot more that can go into enjoying a movie than the simple "A to B" of what happens in sequence. Connecting the various images, characters, and plot devices in the film to the Western traditions that they're

In general people don't like things that require them to think toooo much or have too much prior knowledge. I can see someone not liking Rango if they aren't familiar with the classic tropes of the Western film that the movie celebrates, or if they're the kind of person who confuses animated films for "children's"

Super good, especially if you have any appreciation for Western films, as the movie is essentially a love letter to the genre.

That developer's logo makes me nostalgia hard for some Shadow of the Beast.

lol. Misspellings abound. One of the other characters from Skies, Drachma, is also named after Greek currency. But they didn't fowl up the spelling for him.

That's very reassuring.

No. It's always a good thing. That's why I get so hot and bothered about getting the most current version. The problem is, my wallet doesn't support the money-sink of buying, selling, and re-buying.

Oh snap you're right. lol They did spell my name wrong. That's depressing, as it's meant to be a specific reference.

That's always the first thing I think of too!

This is definitely not a new phenomenon with fighters. I won't argue with you on that. That statement was intended to extend my complaint about fighters to gaming in general these days. The tendency for upgraded iterations has moved onto alot more genres than it ever was prevalent in in the past. RPGs, FPS, action

I am a big fan of High Moon Studios' 2005 FPS Darkwatch. It's actually one of the few FPS that I've enjoyed in my picky lifetime. You guys make the coolest Transformers games ever, and I love you for it . . . but I was convinced of your talent long before War for Cybertron ever existed. Is there anyone kicking

Agreed. I'm just joking.

Now playing

Stop it with the high five jokes . . . you're almost making me wish those were real features.

Nobody who reads this website (or afew). Nearly everybody who lifts weights at the gym near the mall by my house, and everybody at most of the frat houses in the Western world.

Thanks for posting this Mike. I had completely forgotten about Wildstar. The initial announce trailer was what . . . 2 E3s ago? In anycase . . . more footage of the bunny-eared magic class please.

I actually have a series of reoccurring dreams, that have persisted since I was about 10, wherein I can "fly" but its more like swimming through the air. That glitch came from my brain. I'm scared.

My favorite is how there's not one, but two "Give Money" tabs on the website. Are we sure that this isn't a genuine branch of Scientology?

Thanks for the article, but I'm inclined to side with Silver on this one. That's just marketing spin and clever phrase work. There's no partnership here in the business sense. Ouya is simply going to be able to have whatever FF games are on Android platforms. When I start hearing about new properties, exclusive

I've wanted something like this to exist for a long time now. It's a perfect solution for busy adult RPG fans with packed schedules. Grind on my phone on my lunch break at work, then head home and enjoy main storyline progress on my PS3. Sounds like a dream scenario to me. Let's hope things execute well. As much
