Well that's kind of... putrid. I don't recall the series being a blood bath by any means.

I'm an unabashed Nintendo fan, so this year's E3 was one of the best for me in several years. I've been whining about wanting a new Kid Icarus and a new Donkey Kong Country for several years now and I finally got my wish granted. Plus a new Zelda! And a new Kirby game on top of everything else.

I was really hoping something like number 13 would be closer to reality.

Nintendo won it by a country mile. Sony recovered nicely in the end, but they mostly sucked before then. Microsoft was just awful... even Halo and Gears of War 3 came off like yawners.

I think this is the Sonic game people have REALLY wanted all these years. It blends the old school Sonic with 3D Sonic (except you can control him) and the level design and themes are more or less in the ballpark of what you would expect from the 2D games.

@Timstuff: You...uh... haven't been reading the hands-on impressions of Sonic 4 from E3, have you?

It better not be region locked. Especially considering NOA's horrible track record of localizing games in the last few years.

You know, I want a Captain Falcon beat 'em up. Sure, it was never an N64 game or anything, but that has potential.

@Winterbringer: that's reasonable to expect, I think. To my understanding, with 3D you have to be able to generate every image twice, which requires double the processing power of course.

PLEASE get rid of the damn rubberband AI in this, Nintendo!

I imagine the 3Ds launch will probably be the best we've ever seen for any gaming system. Hell, they've got the first 6 months alone covered with that list.

You know what would have unequivocally made this the best E3 ever is if they announced Super Mario RPG 2 instead.

The more I look at it, the more I really really like the way this looks.
