She is a public figure and she did something, maybe not surgery, to radically change the look of her eyes before hitting a public venue where she would be heavily photographed. We’re not supposed to comment on the difference or ponder the why and how? I found it fascinating that she could make such a huge difference…

I honestly think she was just Botoxed to hell in those weird pics so she couldn’t scrunch her eyes closed as much as we were used to seeing. Plus the less than flattering make-up and weirdly ungroomed eyebrows...it all added up to a strange effect on someone who was usually so polished and distinctive looking.

The Center for American Progress is a “centrist” organization primarily funded by monied interests and the ThinkProgress site is one of the few productive and progressive things they have accomplished. What is called “centrism” here is right wing in every other part of the world.

That’s actually a meat that they sell so there’s no need for an analogy.

The most depressing thing I ever saw was in Vegas. I work in manufacturing and was staying at a casino for a conference we were having at one of our locations in Vegas. I came down at 6AM for breakfast before the start of the conference day. I passed a 65+ year old lady on oxygen & smoking playing two slot machines…
