I’ve read lots of anecdotal stories like yours over the years. I’m 6'1" and I've been surprised how little my height comes up with women I've met on dating sites. I list my height on my profile but often after messaging for a while I get asked how tall I am.  Maybe that's where the discrimination would come into play…
