I can understand why Nintendo might have a problem with that, but their passivity in the run-up to Rapp’s firing is so, so cynical and sad. Just as an employee has a responsibility of sorts to protect their employer, so does the employer has a responsibility to their employees, especially in the face of something like

Saying they’re both stupid puts an equal mark between having a moonlight job, possibly in a very suggestive sense, and putting tremendous effort into framing a person for a company decision she had nothing to do with. The latter is not stupid, it’s reprehensible.

Nintendo’s business, nobody elses. Nobody gets to claim they’re up against white knights while pretending that their doxxing a person to get them fired is anything but moralising extremism.

I look forward to the MOBA bubble bursting. The cost of trying to get Lane Pushing is that all the guns must do frankly shrivelly damage, to keep the minions relevant. Titanfall did minions in a shooter best, i think, by making them non-issue point buckets.

I’ll give you problematic: Thinking that comment was the only reason Blizzard changed the pose when Widowmaker still exists. You struck down on that because it fits the narrative you want to see, even when there’s still plenty of stuff in the game to contradict it.

In which case, Fission Mucking Accomplished.

Something which never nhappened. Blizzard already had the idea in their heads that the butt pose didn’t fit the character, and one commenter corroborating that was the drop that filled the glass. It’s editing and listening to feedback.

Better start warming up that Patreon, Yahtzee. Though of course, you’d shit all over your fans on a regular basis if you were forced to be in direct contact, so i wonder how well it’d even work.

The single mission that served as a “Bad guys win” vignette in DA: Inquisition was pretty fanstastic, too.

So that’s not exactly reassuring. Still, nice damage control

Thing is, that’s the sort of long-run holistic payoff that most publicly traded companies are utterly oblivious to. So don’t expect to see that outcome allowed to flourish often.

Again, sets up a situation where the more rational option for the developer/publisher is to not bother with mod support and just sell their own content instead.

“In a future, where Drumpf became president...”

This really is the kind of mindset that leads to publishers shunting mod support to push DLC. $5 for 100 pieces of different gear for your troops is good value, i think.

Because Soichi wasn’t a shitshow at all, in much the same way as the Shanghai major.

This is a Public Service Announcement to remind the public to NEVER pre-order, as exemplified above.

And once more you make an article about this idiotic culture war, highlighting multiple victims and ensuring that more imbeciles will get their pitchforks out and hound them. It’d suit you to not bring out individual names unless necessary for the story, because you know there are probable future harassers hiding in

Of the tonnes upon tonnes of layers of shite Valve is buried in right now, from firing an entire translation team for (apparently) no reason, to the continued shambles that is Early Access and Greenlight, THIS is what Valve’s CEO pops his head out of the cupboard for: Calling a commentator an ass and publicly firing

Gotta say, this is some remarkably cheap laziness for Naughty Dog to get their asses in hot water over. If you’re gonna plagiarise, do it properly!

Oh the clickbait! Imply in the title that Konami is once more being shit with paid DLC, then mullify a few lines into the article and mention it’s just a free update. Bravo!
