I say crowdsource it. You've seen it with the tribunal in League of Legends. It doesn't take a professional to tell when someone is spewing hate speech, and if someone is repeatedly caught being mysogonistic, racist or homophobic, i absolutely believe the given community would be better off without them.

You do realise that game devs are not writing an open letter regarding hate speech aimed at themselves, but hate speech in the gaming community in general, right? No, i really don't think i want games to punish me for failing in them, because more often than not, i fail in a game because of a sudden difficulty spike, a bug or some other fuckup or inconsistency on the part of the game, rather than me just being bad.
