Quick fix? If you read through the end of the instructable, the guy spent 40 hours prepping and painting his car...I'd hardly consider that a quick project.

Sounds like my trajectory too. The Titan was replaced with a Vogue by insurance, and I held on to that Vogue for a darn long time. It was perfect size, and a perfectly servicable phone. Huge Android development for it too.
