I'll admit, I took the time to read her book "Going Rogue," and found it to be an interesting story. However, the most frustrating part for me during the entire read was resisting the urge to stand up and yell at the top of my lungs TAKE SOME DAMN RESPONSIBILITY, BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR YOUR ACTIONS. @benmlee: Inductive coupling (EV1 paddles) and resonant coupling (this) is different technology.

@strays2k: Good point, what a lot of people don't realize is that chevy's EV1 used a near field inductive charger because when you are moving the type of power that it takes to charge an electric car, safety regulations require you to have a bunch of safety interlocks.

Bryan Gardiner wrote up a similar article about a month ago, it was a pretty good read and includes a ton of good sources (and an awesome lego picture) if anybody is interested in reading up more on the topic

@YourSaltyPinkDeathNuts: You need cash to head out to the bars. Sure, sometimes you can open a tab, but that takes much longer and the girl selling beer in a bikini from a tub is strictly cash only.

@Nathan V: I also found the packing slip for my $1800 dell 710m laptop from 2006.
