In Norway there is a two year delivery time for the Opel-variant of the same car. Strange that they don’t shift the production to deliver more of the EU-spec Opel Ampera-E. “Used” Ampera-E-models are sold for 5000+ USD over what the customers paid for their cars.

Isn’t the road tax in London quite high if you have a car spec’ed with a high fuel consumption? I seem to remember that the price could be quite extreme for some SUVs.
My suggestion - get a mid-size hot european. Like a Skoda Octavia RS - should give you the space you need and not that heavily taxed?

That is not photoshop’ed - that was a concept car which they built for a car show. That is not a Octavia, but a Superb (based on the Superb that came in 2003. Built on the Passat/A4-plattform form the time)
