Way back when I got to something $383 for a $25k minivan. It was really nice to pay that damn thing off (still have the van). I’ve been under $200 for all my other loans.

I bet he doesn’t go to a library to use a computer. He probably payed for a depreciating laptop that will be worth almost nothing when he’s done. Don’t be a sucker, get a library card and do all your computer/internet stuff there.

Those of us that keep our cars forever will understand this the most: pick the color you really want, even if it costs extra. Sure, it sucks that most automakers now charge extra for the “good colors”, but are you really going to miss that measly $495 upcharge every time you stare at your car for the next 15-20 years…

We can’t consume our way out of a problem. Modern hybrids are cleaner and more efficient than they’ve ever been, and are a perfectly acceptable stopgap while the EV infrastructure improves and prices come down, which is when you’ll start to see mass adoption. 

Going road racing. I did it and was somewhat competitive about it for 2-3 years. It took ~30% of my take home pay. 

All of which goes to show how we should appreciate the jut-jawed look of the Postal Service’s new EV:

So because the study results don’t fit with your personal preconceived conclusions about the subject, means the study is automatically invalid?

That’s for two reasons:

That any vehicle sold in the US in the last 35 years or even longer is “dangerously slow”.
