Omg, the automatic wipers on the Model 3 are fucking abysmal. I speak from experience. I spend more time pressing the damn wipe button, and there is no ‘manual’ intermittent setting.

Let’s ignore the fact that many recipients of social safety net programs usually spend less than a year receiving benefits, because they were temporarily unemployed. So let’s say someone with a nice, paid-off-car worth maybe $20k, they get laid off due to economic uncertainty or something.
The fear of losing the centrist liberal is just one of the things that Democratic leadership uses as an excuse to avoid enacting widely popular policies like universal healthcare...
Can we apply this to any company looking for a bailout? Seize the assets of the CEOs who have more than a few thousand bucks to their name.
Heck, going from a 15 mpg truck to a 25 mpg truck saves more carbon than going from a 35 mpg Corolla to a 50 mpg Prius.
Trucks have a lot, and I do mean a lot, of exemptions. It’s why they are so profitable.
If Tesla under promised and over delivered it would be Porsche.
It could either be the answer to the Taycan or the EQS, but not both, because they are so fundamentally different. But I don’t see what it is doing about either of them. The Taycan would still outrun it on track or the Autobahn, unless Tesla fits an all-new more powerful cooling system, and the EQS is just an electric…
Is there a point at which they owe Mel Brooks royalties?
You’re completely ignoring the compromises the Ridgeline has. It entirely swaps out capability for convenience/comfort. You can live with the rough ride of another truck, but you can’t live with a Ridgeline if you need to tow more than 5k pounds. You can live with a hard plastic dash but you can’t live with a…
Holy shit. If your Jeeps are base models, then this thing must be the Dickensian poor house trim.
This is the main problem with the Santa Cruz as well as the Maverick, and this is coming from a guy who still owns and loves his Baja. The bed sucks, it doesn’t offer any benefit over an SUV trunk other than keeping your load away from the passenger compartment which is good if it smells I guess, but bad if it rains…
Just give us a 6 foot + 2 ft with tailgate down, so no overhang on 8' loads.
Yes and no.
This is the absolute perfect truck for most people who buy trucks. Therefore Ford will sell about a dozen of them and they’ll be discontinued in three years.
yeah, i’d 2nd this.... a good road bike usually starts around the same price-point... where you get all the higher end features in a little more budget friendly fashion....
I would argue that you are generalizing. I’m not in any of the socio-economic strata where $10k bikes are feasible, but I know people who are and do, and they don’t strike me as unhealthy or obsessed. They just really like bikes, spending that much on them doesn’t mean they have to cut back on any of their essentials…
Sorry, did they say the air leaving the thrusters is traveling at Mach 2? So there is a sonic boom happening in this totally fictional scenario. Got it!
