You failed to mention the best part of the engine, the 8,250 rev limit, and it is a cross plane V8 making it all the more impressive. If they can produce receipts that the time chain and guides were recently replaced then NP. If not that price is going to need to be cut down several thousand dollars.

As you eluded to its not that he spent $750 on an 11 year old banged up Honda. It is that he spent $750 and and the only actual parts installed were a serp belt and 2 gallons of coolant(maybe $40 total). Putting a little money into an older car is fine but there better be something to show for where that money went.

The V10 viper parts are quite different. Bore and stroke is the same and there are like 4 bolts that are interchangeable and of course they all share their roots with the LA engine. But the whole front cover, oil pump, oil pump pickup placement and water pump is different and the bolt hole locations are not all the

The actual issue is that you can’t just buy a code reader for your tractor to diagnose it, not that a farmer is scared that a computer is required. Only John Deere has the software and they refuse to sell it to the farmers or any independent mechanic so you have to call the John Deere mechanic if anything breaks. That

Sounds like GM is screwed. 9/10 times when I get blinded by oncoming traffic it is a late model GM product with the factory LEDs. It started with Cadillac since they got widespread LEDs first, but now it has spread to all the Chevys and GMC’s too. I drive an SUV too, so its not like I am in a low car that is easily

GM guy: “We just lost 3 billion dollars due to the strike. I have an idea lets sue FCA to get that money back and make their workers mad so they go on strike and we can make up ground with our shitty products!” GM guy2: “Brilliant!”  If anyone deserves to sue FCA over unfair UAW bribery it is the FCA workers, not GM.

Good call on John Wick. Another “badass beating people up” movie with great cars is the first Jack Reacher movie. That poor Chevelle though.

My experience from having them as rentals is that they are a pretty decent car. I had a 5.7 Hemi for a week and then a V6 AWD. I think I actually liked the V6 more. Plenty of pep and power for everyday use and then some and complete serenity on the interstate. Just an easy, quiet, and smooth cruiser. The adaptive

A cursory search of google shows plenty of stock examples have been in the 9's.

You gotta go further back, the real quattro systems had lockers. UrQuattro, 4000cs, 200, Ur S-cars with rear lockers.

Even with the steel brakes, doing the work yourself, and using aftermarket pads and rotors you are in for around $1800 just for parts. Could be worse if you needed carbon ceramics, but still not giveaway pricing. If you are tracking the car expect to replace them fairly frequently.

Ahh the memories! I spent a lot of time in the later 4 door version that my dad had and it was the car I learned to drive in (think it was a 96MY). It was only RWD but had the fancy load leveling suspension. It eventually got traded in when it developed a knock/tick for a first gen Mazda 6 V6 manual (which was a great

I have done those searches on myself before. Apparently I have an income much higher than I am getting checks for and I am also registered to a political party.  Apparently I don’t know my own self. The property taxes were pretty accurate though. haha

1 & 2 are very likely. If anything look at the real world performance results to check the math. All the magazines are seeing low 11's at 120-122 mph at a 3647 curb weight in the 1/4 mile. 3-4 different online calculators (which have there own set of errors, but are generally base off real world results) gave estimated

Look at the 1/4 mile trap speed, 121 mph. This is right inline for what we expect a car of this size and approximately 500 hp to run.

Umm, the LT2 is not overhead cam. It is a standard pushrod modern Chevy smallblock.  It does have variable valve timing and dry sump, but no over head cams.

As I said in the last article about this car when we were still speculating on price and figured it was going to be German car money. RS3 all day! Even loaded with some options that I wouldn’t choose (Technology Package, Driver Assist) the Audi is still less money. Nicer interior, more power, has all the latest safety

I am going to assume you made a typo but a 8HP95 is good to 900Nm, not ftlbs. Big difference. Same with the 8HP51 (500Nm).  Those come out to 663ftlbs and 368ftlbs respectively.

Right!? More horsepower, nicer interior, and a truly bulletproof drive train for the same price. Sign me up for the RS3!

If you get hired tomorrow to work the line at the plant and have never worked there before you will be hired in at $17-18 an hour. Under the current contract ,which used to be able to found online, after a I believe 90 day probation period (used to be 1 year) you receive medical insurance, after 3 years you receive
