That's a good point. Guys are gonna need to buy into a two-year plan.

Who said anything about the Cavs picking one of the top 3?
Does that make the Bolero bassoon solo when the longsnapper flies down the field and levels Devin Hester?
The same Liverpool who had the benefit of not having to deal with European competition? I'm personally a little frightened of an improved ManU squad that not only doesn't have to work its roster around CL, it doesn't have to travel to Moldova for Europa either.
Very strong take.
I hope you're referring to Greg's post, and not my comment. As a Spurs fan, I mainly agree that Europa has been little more than an annoyance, only hindering mid-table teams with less depth from accomplishing their domestic goals. Next year, with a CL spot on the line, there will actually be something worth playing…
Beginning next year, the Europa winner gets an automatic Champions League bid ... so, there's that.
But you're imagining a world in which Boise State is the only school not under the NCAA's umbrella. Of course that would be difficult for them to offer athletic scholarships. But we're imagining a world with the NCAA taken out of the equation entirely, and it is a beautiful world.
"When LeBron's throwing his weight and talent around like this, his defenders adopt the exaggerated flailing of Curly after catching a slap from Moe."
God that is amazing!
I have a friend who actually says "and make it strong" or some variation of that with a lot of drinks he orders. It's a real thing, he's asking for a favor without having to pay, and I think less of him for it.
The very nature of a bar is to provide some kind of atmosphere and service that is not in one's own living room for the purpose of drinking, and that premium is traditionally figured into increased price you're paying for the alcohol there. A cover charge without a live act is essentially a way to trick people into…
You're saying he slipped, but he only "slipped" because Kiper, McShay, and Gruden had him wildly overrated. I'm glad I watched NFL Network, where Mayock had him at a much more reasonable 16th.
No, he slipped down a lot further than ESPN thought he would (read: hoped he would).
Manziel accounted for over 1/4 of the mentions. Sure, a survivor bias plays some small role in it, but if it had that big of an impact, Bridgewater would have been mentioned more times than Manziel.
I loved the "football on your phone" ads you pitched on SB Nation yesterday. It was the highlight of my afternoon.
IMO the refrees and Shield have all ways been on the same page. Ed Hocculi does what Goodell tells him,, people forget that.
There is no chance the players were uncomfortable with the language used in the music ... now, having to listen to shitty rappers like Tyga and Game might make a lot of people uncomfortable.
Kiper and McShay are good at what they do, but in a relative sense. They're better than just about everyone else out there at being a "draft expert" who guesses where guys will be drafted. It's a useless position. It's like saying two guys are experts at guessing how many M&Ms are in this jar.
I know, don't you hate it when amazing basketball goes on for weeks?
