Sometimes when you are blinded like that it's s total crapshoot of whether you end up like she did or if you continue along on your merry little way. Blowback like that will completely blind you and there is generally a lot of air being moved by those things that can push your car around. Add slick, greasy or icy

I had a snowplow blind me on the way home the other night. I've driven in the NE winters my whole so I didn't physically react and kept the car going straight until the snow cleared, but it was completely fucking terrifying. I feel for her being in that situation; you're scared you won't get things under control in

No kidding. If I get referred to as the office manager one more time I am going to seriously lose my shit. My other favorite is when calling in a ticket to one of our vendors and am all but asked if there is a man in my department that they can verify the problem with.

I'm sick of this continuous below zero shit. My house has been 54 or below for months and I can't even afford that. Ducking NYSEG has never been so much fun. May can't come soon enough.

I second this recommendation. My mother worked a lord and Taylor in the lingerie section and I always took the women from the group home I worked at to her because she was good at her job and really committed to making sure her customers were wearing properly fitted garments. The fact that she looked like a normal

Gotcha. That makes sense.

I'm insanely competitive and in the end it motivates me more than the shame; they've tapped into the game culture as well as those others. It's a simple and easy way compete with myself and others to constantly do better. I've been using some kind of tracker that links up to an online community for over five years and

Mine has a really beautiful complex red and white lace outfit on right now. My dad used to buy them from a little old italian lady that made them by hand, which completely blows my mind. I guess the red is for christmas or easter and that it should be wearing green right now. My bad.

No kidding? I lost mine because the band tore after repeatedly twisting it to get the tracker in and out to charge. I was so pissed when I looked down and saw that it was gone.

The shame factor of those things is no joke. I lost mine and actually ended up replacing it because seeing how goddamn low those numbers were now that I work in an office terrified the shit out of me. Not having them shoved in my face multiple times a day made it easier to be in denial.

Haha I have one of those in my kitchen that I got when I was born! I'm pretty sure it's generally wearing the wrong outfit and I'm not sure how bad of a thing that is.

So, how much of a book can you lift before you get sued for it? I couldn't get over how similar the books are, where is the line in the sand of legality?

I came all the was back here to tell you I just finished Skin Game late last night and am now with the rest of the crowd waiting for the next release. Thanks for the rec!!

In my office, I have 6 years of seniority and experience. I am the only female and am often jokingly referred to as "the boss" or the "office manager," of which I am neither. What they both translate out to is the one who does all the supply ordering, manages walkins and stupid questions, any interaction with

First thing I did when I was hired to my current job and my insurance kicked in was call my doctor to schedule a tetanus shot. I remember the nurse asking me if I'd punctured my skin on something, and I said, "not yet, but it's no doubt coming." I was so goddamn thrilled that I had real insurance that I could not wait

Not always, but usually. I make sure that I get the Tdap, which protects against diphtheria, tetanus, and pertussis. I've never been offered them individually, but I've also never asked. I work with animals and in spaces that have old questionable metal, so I get regular boosters.

I love that they bundle it in with the tetanus vaccine. I might not be aware that I need a booster for whooping cough, but my accident prone idiot self sure as shit remembers to keep up on tetanus.

My mother was telling me the other night that where we live there is a woman who is calling doctors offices to see if they will see patients that refuse to vaccinate, taking the list of names that say no, and is suing them for discrimination. I can't remember if it was religious discrimination or just flat out

I don't think so, that is unfortunately a statement of fact, one that can be corroborated by someone that lives near many, many farms(me). Nowhere in the comment was there a mention of veganism.

sigh...*bog* of stink, autocorrect.
