Eh...that actually sounds awful to me? Like 60% of the charm of FFT was how incredible well done the spritework is in that game. The 2D art in FFT is top tier for the time, and the animations had real weight and impact to them. It’s part of the reason I prefer FFT to Tactics Ogre, even if TO is a deeper game overall,

I dunno, the story is great in FFT but I think the main reason people love it is the gameplay system (way more than something like FF7 or any other RPG of the time). Seems kinda like a remake that strips out the gameplay is missing the point.

What do you think “fantasy world” means. Seriously. Do you think they invented all new kinds of sentient creatures and spun out completely alien societies and modes of interaction whole cloth? Or do you think they made stories about human beings that are heavily based on actual human cultures and told stories about

It’s bad optics if your internationally-marketed blank check-budgeted fantasy world of magical humans is populated like a West Virginia renaissance faire.

Wait until they see this:

I honestly can’t tell what you’re trying to say with this post. The original Baldur’s Gate was based on D&D. If you’re going in expecting the same gameplay experience with 3 you’re going to be wildly disappointed because the differences between 2nd Edition D&D and 5th Edition are numerous enough to fill Elon Musk’s

There’s plenty of serious stuff alongside lighthearted and sillier moments like choosing to ask Halsin to remain in bear form (the scene can be a rather tender one if you opt for a different route, and really the only truly silly moment is the squirrel’s reaction). If you, the player, choose sillier moments, the game

You know Baldur’s Gate is already based on D&D... right?

Put it right off it’s nuts

Well no, it’s someone who’s an intelligent reasoning person but is currently in a beast form.

That poor squirrel...

Both. You can create a Character or pick a companion and play from their POV.

No, Waymo, this is not vandalism. There’s no damage being done. It’s making a point that driverless cars aren’t as smart as you think they are, and they’re doing their part to keep these cars off the road (at least temporarily) where they shouldn’t have been in the first place.

Well, the problem here is that the car is self driving, so it’s not ‘someone’s car’, there’s no one in it. The car belongs to a corporation that sends its robot cars out without a driver and many times those robot cars are getting stuck and causing accidents. Now the corporation wants to put MORE of those cars on the

A machine that can cease functionality because someone took three seconds to put a traffic cone on it and then can only be restarted by having a third party physically come out to remove the cone seems like a machine that doesn’t need to be on the road to begin with.

I will never understand why people continue giving this clown money. Friggin anti-Semitic uncle-tomfoolery... the whole lot of them.

Is there anything they did right?

Cultists gonna cult.

Why would you send your children here? It doesn’t make sense to me. A building with no windows, books, or supplies. Is there anything they did right?

just another antisemite having his shit together. yep.
