Are you really taking the AMA’s opinions on motorcycle safety seriously? Those are the people who think riding without helmets is a good idea. Also, 2 second following distances are way too short. Anyone who has taken driver’s ed knows that.

Why should I have to follow an arbitrary limit put in place that has nothing to do with safety and everything to do with revenue? How is that not bullshit extortion? How is getting a $250 ticket for doing 11 over on the interstate not getting extorted?

Who cares if the cops aren’t happy that you’re using a detector? I’m not happy to be extorted while I’m just trying to go somewhere.

I’ve had em pull that on me a couple times. Each just good ol’ extortion for driving slightly faster than everyone else.

I guess the appeal of a ‘Jack of all trades’ makes sense, but I feel like as soon as you take these bikes off-road you’re going to hate them. Provided your definition of off-road isn’t a fire road as you put it.

If that had been an old Ford 4x4 truck, that may have been necessary. Yep, you have to the wheel bearing, the hub, and force the lugs out of the hub/rotor assembly to change the front rotors on my old pickup. Nobody knows what Ford was thinking with that idiotic design.

Yeah, and there’s a reason cops get the taxpayer funded level III vests. It is not okay to kill people because they *might* have gained access to a firearm and they *might* have the desire and ability to use that firearm against other people. A reasonable person would not consider their life to be in immediate danger…

Right, my point was that the cops hadn’t found out whether he had deployed those weapons or not before they opened fire. If a normal civilian used lethal force in that situation they would go to jail. But because it was the cops, they’ll get to take a vacation.

By ‘have had a gun’ I meant ‘have had a gun, in his hands, ready to fire.’ I am able to actually comprehend the things that I hear.

The difference is that the people that finish behind her are in noncompetitive cars. Danica gets cars that are capable of at least a top 10 every week and her average finish is still like 27th.

I’d rather be in a crash on a bike than one of those things any day...
