Manuals are filled with either gear oil, or, at least in the case of 1990-1996 F150’s, automatic transmission fluid.

That’s kinda weird. Apparently I was wrong. On my F150 the interval is every 60k for transmission and transfer case. Same with my old miatas.

How often do they recommend replacing it? 30k is pretty standard for transmission and differential oil changes as far as I’m aware.
