I mean I can see limiting the handling capabilities by only allowing bikes with one piece handlebars being safer by lowering speeds, but at the same time if a guy goes off a cliff there isn’t much that can be done about that and limiting the handling capabilities could make going off cliffs more like it. Maybe instead

People who don’t wear helmets cost more money than people that do. If you don’t want to wear a helmet you should be required to purchase extra health insurance so that when your face gets sheared off I don’t end up paying for it.

You pay for these articles in time and ad revenue

It’s one of two things that causes people to do that. Cruiser riders do it because they’re afraid of their bikes. This is because they typically never took the class and started out on the biggest Harley they could (or couldn’t depending on how white trash we’re talking) afford. Sportbike riders do it because they

Are you like the head of a motorcycle class marketing firm or something? FFS we all know classes are a good idea. Don’t need you in every thread talking about how motorcycle classes are the best thing since sliced bread.

If you only ride occasionally, you might get by without ever crashing. If you ride somewhat seriously, you will have some type of crash eventually.

Every time you get on a motorcycle it’s important to understand that it might be your last time.

...So I’m now officially in support of carpeted truck beds. Provided they’re removable and machine washable of course.

One dyno test hardly makes the SS better than the Corvette. The Corvette is still faster, more refined, has a better interior, looks about 1000x better. Not to mention the fact that dyno runs are incredibly unreliable. Altitude, temperature, humidity, calibration, how good the fan in front of the dyno is, etc. all

It’s luxury yo. Can’t be having bare metal scratching your golf clubs or mountains of blow or your gold bars. Or whatever the type of person who would buy a Lincoln blackwood would haul around.

You would have to figure out how much weight the average person can lift with a people nurple. Until you do that, this is just the Nrp-Torch

This. I’ll take my beat up rusty old pickup over this thing any day

It was a joke. The idea is that if Russia can’t even drive their carrier anywhere without having to get it towed back then they’re not likely to have a better air defense system than some MANPADS. Just a ‘Russia sucks’ joke and nothing more.

What I said was a joke, so...

“you’d think that Russian ships would have better air defenses than just shoulder-fired rockets”

Could you please explain?

I need to get into whatever form of racing where the cost of transportation is anywhere near the most expensive part. The cost to race a kart is way more than the cost to get to the track.

Your first link doesn’t seem to give a number, but only say that 1-2 million isn’t true. Your other two links cite 259 justifiable homicides. If you were paying attention, you’d know that I didn’t talk about justifiable homicides. I was talking about DGUs.

“Guns, Gun Control, and Elections: the Politics and Policy of Firearms” by Harry L Wilson, page 64-65. Cites a 1994 study on the subject by Gary Kleck and Marc Gertz.

That’s a popular saying, but it’s pretty inaccurate. Chances are there’s not going to be a cop close enough to stop you when you floor it and get off at the next exit. Or just turn down a few side streets if you’re not on the highway.

Actually I would rather see cops on bikes that can’t do 100+. There’s no reason for them to be doing that. Although it is pretty laughable that a huge Harley has roughly the same top speed as a Ninja 250.
