A fat stack of dealer invoices and receipts for consumables is exactly why I purchase the LX 470 I drive, and that was after months of viewing other vehicles with no history attached. Not playing that game.

It totally was like a space ship... Aaron knew he was always going to be the one driving when we went out.

Title accuracy at 100%. Every time I see her on a talk show on giving an interview I think how she would be the perfect Happy Hour companion.

Clever, elegant, and appropriate. Well done!

Old cars are emissions exempt here in Oregon and many states, is that not the case where you live? Or do you mean more of a worse case scenario where the laws change altogether to get old cars off the roads?

Totally with you here, there’s been stories about the guy 3D printing a DB4 body (but I think only to make a buck from) so you could definitely do something similar to build in the attachment points to a Tesla chassis or similar. I can see in 10-years time a thriving business in this style of auto, even after

While I do enjoy electric cars I very often drive my W111 coupe with the windows fully down (kind of a pre-requisite on a pillar less coupe however) and no music playing just so I can enjoy the sounds of the road, nature, the shifts, and most importantly on an old car, so you can listen for trouble. A couple years ago

What happened with the law that made full-width taillights illegal? Or is that just “brake lights” specifically? I seem to remember US versions of cars with these style lights always had to have a little missing bulb in the center to differentiate two separate lights. Anyway glad these are finally here, since I was a

Was his name Aaron? The basketball player at my school had this model too and we thought he was on God-mode with all the tech inside. His was that maroon color, such cool cars.

I thought these were such cool cars when they came out, very unique for the time!

I LOVE that movie, haven’t seen since I was a kid tho. Sounds like it still holds up?

These stories are what worry me about buying used cars, this thing will likely get bought to flip since no sane person will want to drive around in this even after its been “treated” but the unsuspecting next owner will get a car that almost certainly didn’t have the entire HVAC replaced. This is nightmare stuff.

Exactly, just take a look at every “just off lease” Mercedes & BMW and there ya go.

I didn’t see a single La Forza or Bitter SC in that whole spread, sure this was LA?

Is there a Jalopnik Classics or Hall of Fame? This post qualifies.

Sleep in.

Correct answer right here.

Whoa whoa there now, he could have just been doing cocaine for all we know. Reel it in a little.

Perhaps not entirely debunked since the Cadillac key is totally finished and clean in look and design while the Corvette key has a sloppy clearly 3D printed section that includes the Corvette logo, so there’s a *possibility* that’s camo to cover the Cadillac origins. This would also make sense because surely the

I was actually going to say this, that most likely if the line is successful they will add other sizes. Makes sense to keep the line and budget somewhat constrained at the outset to have a better chance of long-term success. Now if I can only figure out how I got here from Jalopnik...
