One time we was all comin in and the pilot was all whaaaa and we was all oh shit and then it ws like boosh blafff blammmm and then it was over.

Thanks much, that’s actually my favorite part about the car, warm weather cruising with the windows dropped. #pillarlessforlife

That’s a very cool project, and I have never thought about their support for older vans/trucks, now I’m curious.

Yes, I recall how the final cars off the line had lost the crispness of their body lines just a bit.

They would make a new fender for your 300l roadster for example, but they were completely out of heads for my W111 coupe when I needed one, and had been for a long time I was told, but they also had no capacity to make one. Same for my outside mirror glass. They told me to buy a larger mirror from a truck or SUV and

See my reply above, but no, they will not do a special run and people like myself have regularly “put them to the test” in seeking our hard to find factory original parts. If they see an out of production/out of stock part is popular in terms of relevant continued orders then they will often make a new run, or in most

The Mercedes-Benz Classic Center does like to hint around that they have everything for any old Mercedes but it’s simply not true. I have dealt with them often and get about a 50% hit rate for parts I need. Of course common bits shared across many models, or bits that are fitted to the most collectable models, are

Let me guess, the cheating software is the only electrical component on that Jeep that didn’t give it’s owner trouble?

I watched the trailer this morning,  I also enjoyed the 21 Jump Street reboot, but I felt this lacked the more outrageous “pushing-the-boundaries” type humor we saw in Jump Street and others like the new Vacation movie, This is the End, Grandma’s Boy, etc.

Well done buddy!

Big. Fucking. Deal.

Here’s my Top Five forever and ever and ever cars...

I saw one of these our at Portland International Raceway this summer, oddly during the All British Field Meet. It was so well made I figured it had to be a produced kit so thanks for solving the mystery.

Good point on the lights, and thanks man for the kind words. I really wish these coupes looked better without their bumpers tho, like how the 190sl and 300sl are so clean and smooth, but these cars have an ugly stamped horizontal panel instead. I’d need to fit a custom spoiler like on the red car above, or just roll

I think it may be time for Hell to kidnap Bernie and keep him there forever more. I’m sure they missed him.

I can’t explain why exactly but I see a veritable shit-ton of Delica vans all over Portland, not even the same owner either. All are RHD of course and they really get your attention for being familiar but slightly quirky in design, kinda like the old LaForza SUVs from the ‘80's & 90's.

Definitely going to start doing this. Saw way too many riders eat armrests when living in NYC and LA, and there are far more bikes here in Portland and I’d feel terrible if I ever injured someone with my car in any way. These are the sorts of solutions that work because they are so utterly simple. Thanks, I mean it.

Not quite bought, but we could and did borrow Johnny Cash’s tour bus.

Jalopnik Classic. Hmmm, I’m fully down for that. As my Middle Eastern friends say, Old is Gold baby! I am currently considering if I want to turn this thing into a rally-touring car, no roll cages or major changes, but just some stuff to make her more reliable and safe for events like the Monte Shelton Rally here in

I can see how Mercedes-Benz could work this into a new ad campaign somehow... “We appreciate your brand loyalty, so now let us repay the favor by offering the World’s first car that is willing to kill for you. The Best or Nothing, like literally, not even a pulse.”
