There's a whole group of guys who work up on Mt. Hood here in Oregon who run old Diesel Benzes. I had the pleasure to meet one of them at my local indie garage and we had a blast just chatting about cars (and food, this is Oregon). Mine is a gas car so I don't qualify but I do love any old Benz.

Same here, I started off with vintage 50's American cars with fins, movd to British saloon cars, then sporty sedans and a Porsche 944, a further move into German territory landed me first a modern Mercedes and now a 50-year "Oldtimer" Benz is my daily driver.
