I suppose there in lies the difference, you have a handful of friends who know what you do, Totalbiscuit had 2.2 million subscribers on Youtube alone. Since this site reports on gaming, and his voice has had some significant effect on gaming, it seems entirely appropriate for them to report on it.

I feel like your

You sit here, desperately trying to convince people John was this awful human being and then condescendingly mock them when the facts and examples you’ve been twisting around don’t line up with reality. I really wish you could take the blinders off and maybe see the bigger picture instead of politicizing a man’s death.

I have watched and listened to Totalbiscuit’s work for a lot of years. He could be brazen and loud, but underneath all of that was someone who believed that there was really something called Truth, which is not created, but uncovered and (mis)represented.

Damn. He practically changed gaming. What a legend. At least the pain is over.

I think the key is that WoW has all the pieces of a successful MMO nailed down and perfectly integrated. Tons of people have created better looking games, but nobody has gotten them all to work so well. The story line alone is untouchable.

Set a standard?

Checked out the site but other than the 30 day free trial I don't see anywhere that says there is a free version. Am I missing something?

My original thinking was related to getting into bed at night. You settle down, turm the light off and then plug your phone in — only to get blinded by the screen... that;s when the rushing to hit the button comes in. For me, anyway.

Wow thanks for the coverage! LifeHacker is definitely my favorite news source so to get an app published in it is like the definition of success for me :) I pushed 1.1 today, which adds increased functionality and also fixes some issues. Users, please let me know what is working and what isn't. It's a little hard to

Great, like I haven't spent enough time playing Morrowind and Skyrim in my life already.

Yeah, it can be pretty annoying and I try to be aware of that. It's especially bad with stuff like your example, when there's no real way to "prove" who the best bands are that you haven't heard of. Maybe you've heard them and they're not that great. In this case, most of the tips here are not known by all, and if

But how long you let it freeze?

actually people have mispronounced it nobama for years.

Thanks for the compliment, but it's easy to ignore the "post updates to Facebook" fine print when you're not really paying attention and just want to sign into something.

Agreed. I like to think I keep my FB in a state where I'm okay with anybody seeing it (and that this should be a goal for most everyone lol), however once there's a 3rd party app it can sometimes be really convoluted as to what auto-posts where and when and I know we aren't the only ones who actively try not to be

There's always FreeCommander... Not as polished, but the price can't be beat.

That's a chicken and egg argument. Do the people live there because they're poor, debt-ridden and have to fight discrimination just to survive, or do they live there because they're "liable to steal"?
