I liked FF XII's world it was actually quite fun. The main story was very linear however to do the super guild hunts you needed to go through area's that you needed to be highly leveled to go to and that opened up a lot of paths. I'm of course thinking of the misty graveyard.

No you don't understand. I'm not comparing the game play in anyway. I'm saying Final Fantasy this generation elicits the same kind of emotional response among certain segments of the internet that CoD does. As for the Tales comparison I've got Xillia pre-ordered already but the business strategy between Namco and

I mean in terms of love to hate. If anything the Japanese RPG equivilent of CoD is the Tales of series (which I adore). A new game every year (or so), similar mechanics, and archetypical characters.

So true. It's fine to have your opinion but if you don't have anything constructive to say then don't say it. Also honestly the purist or "real fans" I find to be the worst. As they always basically say the same things about the same games; most notably FF VI, VII, and IX. Now they're great games but so are games

It's looking like each of the armours will be equivalent to paradigms from previous games. So one will be a melee type another magic, another defensive, ect. Although I hope they go beyond the five paradigms we've seen before and do something nice and cool. Although to me it's looking cool and at least varied.

Then no NPC's and stores were really annoying. I noticed it heavily when you got to the Casino like place with Sazh and Vanille and you could basically do nothing but run from point A to B... it's sad when you can play a FF on mute and not lose anything...

Honestly I didn't think of it until I saw the trailer myself despite knowing about this for so long. As it looks like the weapons or at least Paldron type armors will change too.

I never really understood the issue with linearity Most JRPG's are linear and most final fantasy games only really give you to illusion of choice and branches. However honestly a trully non-linear Final Fantasy game hasn't really existed since IX. I mean X had no overworld and really very little need to backtrack

Lightning fights like Erza from the manga and anime Fairy Tail cool.

This seems the most logical explanation for me. I think the massive Versus delays is the fact their taking the Versus art assets and transferring them over to FF XV and remaking the game using the Luminous Engine (the Agni's Prophecy one) as a next generation Final Fantasy game which they have confirmed they have in

and it begins again... Final Fantasy article and the trolls and purists are out in full force... wish it would all just stop and enjoy the games.

Yup replace b with an m and you're good to go.

You do realize that Tony Stark as a character is a playboy alcoholic billionaire right? RDJ didn't make Tony Stark like him that was Stan Lee... RDJ is basically the real life Tony Stark.

Check this out.

I've always wanted to go to a Tales of Festival they seem like alot of fun. Also from friends who've been there while living in Japan they said the exact same things regarding the most popular characters. How the fangirls really shine there as it were.

I was thinking the same thing this is a game I have a feeling that would suffer alot from just higher resolution textures. A full on remake on the other hand would be amazing.

I actually enjoyed Fable II as much as lost chapters but damn Fable III sucked luckly I got it for free for a promotion when I got a year of Xbox Live, the other three games were Halo: Reach (already had), Kinektimals, and another Kinect Game. I still regret not getting a second copy of Reach lol.

Man I love weddings in aSoIaF... always so eventful.

Man in Starcraft 2 rage quits are so common. The worse part is when they rage quit then message you after the game and keep pestering you. Then 9/10 when you offer to 1v1 them again or for the first time in team games they almost never play.

Yes because when you are talking about localization only one market matters and that is North America. Sorry to say but Europe due to its multiple languages are an after thought for JRPG's it's also because its in general a smaller market. So when your talking about localization of course the only numbers that
